I get asked this question by an increasing amount of couples…”whats it like eloping to get married”? If you are thinking of eloping to a destination in one of the Whitsunday Islands or anywhere in Australia, from my experience photographing wedding elopements it is one of the most empowering and amazing experiences you can have. According to a couple I remember so well, Dayne & Shelly, they wouldn’t have changed a thing. They had three small children so it was the perfect way for them to seal their marriage vowels and have a romantic holiday and honeymoon.
Personally having witnessed many elopements on the Whitsundays, I believe an island wedding elopement is a truly romantic and intimate experience . However, its not for everyone… but for some couples it is the perfect fit… totally beautiful. Take a look at this romantic island wedding photography…
