Photographing Chloe and Matt wedding was an incredible pleasure, if I try to put it into words, it will just cheapen it, so I won’t.  The images tell the story in a random way.  Chloe and her three sisters kept us laughing all day. Personality in this family is big! I could only imagine how it must feel for their parents to see.  The groom, Matt, has that way of melting your heart,  and his Nana told me he consistently makes women blush…so we thought we’d take advantage of his attributes and make him into Daydream Island’s very own mermaid. I think we achieved that one Matt! The Groomsen were fun, fun, fun and very accommodating with photos down on the beach front in particular, however the bridesmaids didn’t go unnoticed (all will be revealed in a few weeks guys!).  Thank-you to the families of Chloe and Matt,  generous and so accommodating, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you on the Island. We had a gorgeous sun lit afternoon of love on the beach with Megan and Wade playing in the sand. What can I say?  What a wonderful Daydream Island Wedding…the colours, the sunshine and blue skies, the people and the love and happiness that was Greg & Alesha’s wedding.

With an interesting start to the girls getting ready that ended up in everyone knowing the photographer had secret talent in fashion design along with the bride’s mother.  The two of us fashioning together a dress that, shall we say had a quick redesign culminating in interesting Island flair styling.

Nothing could stop the fun and romance progressing with a groovy jetty boogie seeing some good moves  by the entire bridal party.  Also some secret climbing to parts of the island that were freshly discovered by us to work in with this couple’s island wedding.

The couple had an intimate reception with close friends and family on ‘Lovers Cover’ overlooking the water’s edge.  It was a truely romantic occasion and we thank them very much for choosing us to document their day.  Enjoy your sneak preview of whats to come guys….

There’s a special feeling photographing children of a couple who you also photographed on their wedding day.  A kind of unspoken connection that makes a wedding photographer’s job even more meaningful.  It is such a privilege to share in their families as they grow.  I photographed their first son around three years ago and now they have twice the joy with another little boy arriving last year.  These guys have two of the cutest kids, adventurous, unique and beautiful, each in their own way.  You can see the love in the images that are the Mitchell’s.  Enjoy your sneak peak guys…
